Trekking through the famous Todra gorge
Tinghir is located in a wide valley between the High Atlas in the north and Jbel Saghro in south. From the terrace of your hotel you can see in winter sand of desert and snowy mountains. Between the two mountains there is also the longest river oasis of Morocco - Todra River. For many months, the water flows until the desert just back of El Hart before fleeing into the ground. The contrast between the mountains in ochre and green oasis landscape gives a special beauty. And there are people who work in the country.

A gorge, two passes and many views. During this trekking you will enjoy a very panoramic views on the region around Tinghir. We will drive you till the entrance of the Todra Gorge, which you cross on foot, after that you climb 300 meters to reach a small pass, where you will enjoy an impressive view of the landscape below. The trekking continues; first down over the camps of nomads, after that a second pass. From here you have a magnificent view on the palm grove before the Todra Gorge. Following good mule track, you reach the starting point and go back.
