Tinghir palm grove
Tinghir is known by its beautiful palm grove. The city is located near the famous Todra gorge, thanks to the altitude the climate is very nice. We find here also the longest river oasis of Morocco. Todra River has permanent water giving the inhabitants the opportunity to cultivate the fields all the year.

This excursion gives you a vision about life and work in the oasis of Tinghir. We will drive you to the starting point of your trekking, where you walk in the palm grove for 2 hours. You will pass by inhabited and uninhabited villages and you can see the peasants while working. During the journey there will be a guide who gives information about life and work of the population: Why villages along the river are empty? How the water system does goes?
During this beautiful walk you discover the relationship between nature and culture, which mark the life of the oasis.
