How to arrive to Tinghir?

The international airport of Ouarzazate is at 165 Km. far (2 hours 30 minutes by private car), through a desert landscape with pleasant oasis and mountains in the background. The road is well paved now.

Flights to Ouarzazate

• Transfer from Ouarzazate by taxi 4 places: 600 DH (by night, 800 DH)

• CTM bus lives Ouarzazate at noon. Arrival around 3 pm.

• Many private buses each day from Ouarzazate.

The international airport of Marrakech is at 360 Km. (6-7 hours by private car) through a mountain road with many curves but also with fantastic scenery between Marrakesh and Ouarzazate. From Ouarzazate to Tinghir, is a desert landscape with pleasant oasis and mountains in the background. All the road is well paved.

• Supratours direct bus from Marrakech at 8.30 am. and 3 pm. Arrival around 4 pm. and 11 pm. respectively.

• Almou Draa direct bus from Marrakech at 10 am. Arrival around 6 pm.

• Other private buses from Marrakech at 6 am., 11 am., noon and 3,30 pm.

The international airport of Agadir is at 540 Km. (9-10 hours by private car). The road between Agadir and Ouarzazate is a bit old and narrow in some sections. From Ouarzazate to Tinghir it is good. It passes through the Anti-Atlas.

The international airport of Fes is at 500 Km. (7-8 hours by private car), by an excellent road through the mountains without a lot of corners. The landscape is varied and interesting enough, but somewhat less than the road from Marrakech.

The international airport of Casablanca is at 580 Km. (10-11 hours by private car). Between Casablanca and Marrakech there is the motorway. After you go by the described route from Marrakech to Tinghir.

• CTM bus from Casablanca at 7,30 pm. with change in Errachidia. Arrival around 9 am.

• Many private buses each day from Casablanca.

A Supratours bus comes each day from Merzouga at 8 am. Arrival to Tinghir at 1 pm.

The closest way of ground from Europe is passing by Almería, the harbour Tanger-Méd, Meknès, Midelt and Errachidia: about 700 Km. from the Moroccan border (10-12 hours by private car). Another interesting possibility is Almería, Nador harbour, Guercif and Errachidia, shorter but the road is a bit old and narrow in some sections.
